August 26th at 7pm
Hosted by Independent Dialogue CoordinatorCatherine Fleming Bruce
Why are over 200 busloads of people planning to travel to Washington DC to meet at the Lincoln Memorial sixty years after the 1963 March on Washington? The organizers, the National Action Network and the Drum Major Institute, say that it is a ‘continuation’ and not a ‘commemoration’.
Join us as we talk with some of the people who are coming from across the country to participate in this event. We want to know how this effort contributes to dialogue about social change between diverse populations, and how it can be a praxis point between dialogue and action.
